When it comes to a 44hz laptop or 144hz laptops, you'll be looking to balance 3 main factors that we'll be comparing and ranking each 44 hz laptop against — speed, reliability, and cost. It's tough to get all 3 of these into one, however, some of the latest releases in October 2022 have blown PC competitors out of the water.
MSI Pulse GL66 $1,399, 5/5 Star Review
With the latest MSI Pulse, gamers everywhere are rejoicing at how this PC has improved in '22. The 11th generation I7 chip is one of the best, and in this PC, it really delivers.
Even if you're not a gamer, it can easily handle Zoom, databases, Office 365 (or a million tabs open) at the same time with no issues. Plus, you will not even experience any overheating, as some of the more demanding games will cause on laptops sometimes.
We've ranked the Pulse as our first choice, mostly for the price and the features. It's much cheaper than the new Surface laptop, better than the Predator Triton, slightly faster than Alienware's new release and has a vastly bigger display.
Games just look beautiful on this MSI, and it's my personal favorite at this point. If you're lucky, try to grab it while it is still on sale (and in stock) with Prime's Early Access deal. It's the laptop most worth snatching up, and right now, before the price rises.
2. Acer Predator Triton 300 PT315 $1,799 | 4.6/5
The Acer Predator Triton also comes equipped with the same 11th Gen Core i7 processor in the MSI Pulse, delivering unmatched speed and intelligence, enabling impressive gaming, productivity and creating experiences. However, it's $400 more expensive than the MSI as of October.
3. Acer Nitro $864 | 4.5/5
The Acer Nitro is the most budget-friendly on our list for gamers, and although the processing speed will be slower, it still delivers as much memory and RAM as the other players on this list of 44hz laptops.
It can still handle League of Legends and some of the more demanding CPU games, you just might experience the occasional overheating. The keyboard has a nice click to it and for the price, it's truly not a bad choice for a casual to semi-serious gamer.
